Ashley Thompson

mascot

Mascot - One of our members was chosen to
attend an Everton match and be mascot for
the day. The match was to be versus Charlton
Athletic on 24th April 1999. Ashley Thompson
was the name picked out of the hat and thoroughly
enjoyed his day out. (See picture opposite) |

Hotel in Wrexham (another sell-out) Again
money was raised and a cheque was donated
to 'Nightingale House' |

Show
Night - Our first show night was held at the
Bersham Legion. A comedian (Richard Hedd)
and a group performed. 120 tickets were sold
and a cheque for £100 was donated 'Hope
House' charity. |

Sportsman's Evening with Duncan McKenzie was
held on Saturday 30th June 2001 at the B.I.C.C.
social club, on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Tickets were priced at £6.50 which included
food. An excellent evening was had by the
95 people who turned up |
